3ef3461740 For ports that are explicitly enabled on armv6, also enable them 
on armv7.  This has not been tested with an -exp run but should
"do no harm".

4b7fc05407 Drop maintainership.

e1ea298baf As with armv6 we need to use POSIX mutexes. Without this the ports try to 
use fcntl mutexes and fails as they are deprecated.

7af063b404 enable posix-mutexes by default for armv6 targets as db will crash and burn 
when using the internal mutex implementation via unsupported instructions.

b50a4b0708 Berkeley DB cleanup, remove versions 4.0 ... 4.7. 
- Mk/bsd.database.mk rewrite, new default to db5.
- db6 is eligible by default only if installed on the system.
- Bump PORTREVISION of all ports that directly depend on BerkeleyDB or
  where USE_BDB is found in the port's directory
- Patch a few ports such that they will pick up or work with newer
  versions.
- Add UPDATING entry
- Drive-by format fix for pks
- Drop BerkeleyDB option from mail/popular for now, requires more work.
- Exp-run logs linked from the PR below.
- Ports that do not build (IGNORE, BROKEN, etc.) have pro-forma changes
  for new Berkeley DB, but are untested.

NOTE: please read UPDATING and the Wiki page before proceeding!

db4e6b5f81 Fix stage-qa warnings 
Remove trailing blank from MASTER_SITES

Rename patch to avoid special characters.
Add LICENSE_FILE, USES=libtool:keepla
Patch libtool install runs to use ${INSTALL} instead of cp -p
Bump PORTREVISION (adding .so.0.0.0 files).

c4701807ef Add Berkeley DB 4.8 to the ports tree as a "regular" port for now. 
Once FreeBSD 8.0 ships, I'll update all the USE knobs that are
necessary to allow other ports to make use of this port.
