On master (1.3-dev) branch, an important issue #333 (https://github.com/viewvc/viewvc/issues/333) was fixed. The issue was on forbidden and forbiddenre authorizer which should hide paths or repositories from users, and it had entirely broken on porting to Python 3 (no releases is affected). PR: 274621
